Signed, titled and annotated ‘100 proofs’ in pencil, from the intended edition of 100 (110 were printed), the sixth (final) state, printed in the United States.

Sloan wrote about Memory: “A memorial plate made after Linda Henri died, an intimate print which has become one of the most popular of my etchings.”
The subjects are, from left to right, Robert Henri, Linda Henri, Dolly Sloan, and John Sloan. Memory was alternatively titled: Memory of Last Year; Family Group.
